A beautiful traditional choice for your interior space.
Solid wood floors have a thick wear surface and can be sanded and finished more times than some engineered wood floors. It is not uncommon for homes in New England, Eastern Canada, and Europe which are several hundred years old to have the original solid wood floor still in use today. They are designed to last the life of the home. Solid Hardwood is not recommended for basements or “below grade” floors, but can be absolutely stunning on a main floor or “above grade” levels. There have been recent innovations and new products introduced to the hardwood flooring industry, such as Engineered Hardwood or Vinyl products that can be substituted for solid hardwood in areas it is not recommended.
Solid Hardwood is a beautiful traditional choice for your interior space. Solid hardwood floors are made of planks milled from a single piece of timber. They are available in many species, sizes, styles and finishes.
