White Oak

Light colored wood with a ringed grain appearance similar to white oak but less pink in appearance. Native to some parts of North America and also extremely common in eastern Europe and Russia. Takes stain extremely well. White oak is another extremely popular option.

Janka Hardness scale: Moderately hard (slightly more than red oak) 1350

Staining ability: Very good staining ability
